Image size guide

What each image slot on Artysan expects. None of these are hard limits - larger images are resized for you - but these shapes look sharpest.

Profile photo

400 × 400
  • Square; shown as a circle, so keep the subject centered.
  • JPG or PNG, under 2 MB.

Shop banner

1600 × 400 or wider
  • Wide and short - roughly a 4:1 shape works best.
  • The middle stays visible on phones; keep text and faces near the center.
  • JPG or PNG, under 4 MB. Skip it and your shop keeps its gradient.

Listing photos

1200 × 1200 or larger
  • Square crops display best in the marketplace grid.
  • Natural light and a plain background sell handmade work hardest.
  • Up to 8 photos per listing; the first is the cover.
